Meditate on that for about 5-10 minutes every day for at least a week. Each day afterwards write down all of the opposing thoughts that arise like, "smoking is the only thing that calms my nerves" and so on. The next part can be challenging, but it is a big key to your success. Examine each of the oppositions and meditate on remembering the event or time in your life that created this useless belief. Now, write affirmations that release your old beliefs and affirm the opposite. This part of manifesting desires can be painful but very liberating and healing. Step four is to create an attitude of gratitude! Be thankful for all the great things in your life that already exist and be thankful for the desire you are manifesting as if it is already so. To continue with the smoking example you could use an affirmation like "I am thankful to be on the path to a smoke free lifestyle".
